Fire Alarm Information

The SafePod is located near to one of the Library’s fire exits which will be indicated by the SafePod Coordinator at the start of your booking. In the event of a fire alarm leave the building by following the signs to the nearest fire exit (main entrance of the Library). Library staff will direct where to congregate while awaiting an all clear.

Access Policy

Access to the Library is controlled and a University card is required for entry by University of Warwick staff and students. External users must report to the main ‘Welcome Point’ on the first floor of the Library building where the Team will contact the SafePod Coordinator on duty to meet you and take you up to the SafePod.

Accessibility

The Library can be accessed by lift from the ground floor of the Library building and, once in the building, all floors are wheelchair accessible via lift from the central lift lobby.

Accessible toilet facilities can be found on the ground floor to the right of the central lift lobby.

Lone Working Policy

There is no lone working policy. Use of this SafePod is unsupervised.
