Directions

Cambridge University Library is located to the West of the city, a few minutes' walk from the city centre, and 10-15 minutes by taxi from the main railway and bus stations. It is reached by a drive from West Road. There is limited parking to the front of the library.

Access Policy

Users must follow the University's Covid-19 working guidelines. Users from outside the University of Cambridge should report to the Reader Services desk on the ground floor of the library and ask to speak to a SafePod Coordinator.

You must be registered with the library before you can enter the library building. If you are not registered then follow the instructions on our library web page.

Accessibility

The SafePod is located on the first floor of the building, near the main Reading Room. Information on step free access can be found along with further information for disabled users, including parking on our library web page. A floor plan is also available.

Accessible toilets are located near to the SafePod and elsewhere on the first floor.

Lone Working Policy

There is no lone working policy. Use of the SafePod is unsupervised.
