Directions
The nearest tube stations are Holborn and Temple, which are approximately 5 minutes walk away from the library. The nearest railway stations are Charing Cross and Blackfriars which are a ten to fifteen minute walk to the library.
Fire Alarm Information
Please familiarise yourself with the library fire alarm evacuation procedures. The closest fire exit and escape staircase will be signposted to users at induction. If the fire alarm is activated please leave the SafePod and follow the evacuation procedures.

Access Policy
Mask wearing on campus is voluntary but strongly encouraged – especially in lifts and the main library building. Please be respectful of others' decisions on mask use in all situations.
Bookings must be received by the LSE SafePod Coordinators a minimum of three working days before the date the SafePod is required. Booking requests go to the Data Centre for approval before they reach the LSE SafePod Coordinators, so please factor this in when planning your SafePod booking.
Accessibility
There is step free access to both the library and the SafePod. Accessible toilets are available in the library on the same floor as the SafePod.
Lone Working Policy
There is no lone working policy. Use of the SafePod is unsupervised. In accordance with Health & Safety policy we will inform security staff at the library reception desk so that they are aware of the presence of researchers inside the SafePod.
