Access Policy

Access to the Biomedical Sciences Building is controlled and a U-card is required for entry by University of Bristol staff and students. External users must sign in at the reception desk and whilst in the building will be accompanied at all times by the SafePod Coordinator.

Users of the SafePod should ensure that they are familiar with the University's COVID-19 working guide, and in particular the requirement for two negative COVID-19 tests, three days apart, before coming into campus. You are not required to provide evidence of this, but please factor in time for testing before your SafePod booking.

Please be aware that the SafePod Coordinators are also working to this guideline and if we are unable to take the required tests before your booking, you will be asked to rebook at a later date.

Accessibility

Step-free access to the SafePod is available and there is an accessible toilet nearby. Please contact us before your visit for more information.
