Fire Alarm Information

The Fire Alarm makes a continuous, loud, ringing sound. The assembly point is outside the main entrance to the Roxby Building. Assistance will be provided to wheelchair users.

Access Policy

To access the Roxby building you need to (a) have completed a recent negative COVID-19 lateral flow test; (b) wear a face mask or, if not possible, a sunflower lanyard; (c) sign in to the visitor log book on entry and exit.

Accessibility

The SafePod is located on the first floor. A wheelchair lift is provided for access. Contact the SafePod Coordinator to discuss any access requirements.

The SafePod Coordinator reception desk and wheelchair-accessible toilets are both located on the ground floor.

The Roxby Building is equipped with EvacuChairs to facilitate the evacuation of wheelchair users in an emergency.

There is no lone working policy. Use of this SafePod is unsupervised.
