The University of Manchester is located in the centre of Manchester just off the A57(M) between Upper Brook Street (A34) and the Higher Cambridge Street (A5067). There are multiple bus stops for the campus along Oxford Road. The nearest train stops are Manchester Piccadilly and Oxford Road.

If the fire alarm sounds leave the SafePod and exit the Main Library via the nearest fire exit and join staff and students in the designated safety area outside of the Main Library.

For external University of Manchester researchers, access to the library will be provided by a SafePod Coordinator to the library.
