The Luxembourg Income Study (LIS) is pleased to organise an introductory online webinar on the use of the LIS databases, dedicated to UK-based researchers who may access LIS data through the UK SafePod Network.

LIS collects and harmonises socio-economic micro datasets from upper- and middle-income countries and makes them available into:

• Luxembourg Income Study Database (LIS): the largest available harmonised income micro-database with nearly 1000 datasets from over 50 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Australasia spanning six decades.
• Luxembourg Wealth Study Database (LWS): the first cross-national wealth database in existence with over 100 datasets from nearly 25 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Australasia
• ERF-LIS Database: harmonized income/consumption micro-database combining LIS and Economic Research Forum (ERF) data, currently covering 7 MENA region countries

The webinar will take place on 14 April from 10:00 to 11:15 and will introduce the LIS databases, demonstrate how researchers can work with LIS data, and explain the access procedures through the SafePod Network.  Registration for the webinar is via this link.
