About
UK Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration (UK LLC) provides approved researchers with secure access to de-identified longitudinal study data contributed by partner Longitudinal Population Studies (LPS), together with selected linked datasets, where appropriate approvals and permissions are in place. UK LLC enhances the study-collected data by linking participants’ health and socio-economic data and data about the environments, neighbourhoods and dwellings in which participants live.
Data catalogue
Available data may include demographic, survey, health, genomic, administrative and place-based data from a range of data owners, including participating LPS, the NHS, the Department for Work and Pensions and HM Revenue & Customs. More information and a data catalogue is available here.
Data application
Data access is restricted to Office for National Statistics accredited researchers working on approved projects that have undergone feasibility, ethical, public and governance assessment. Researchers must agree to comply with UK LLC requirements and any dataset-specific terms and conditions imposed by data owners before access is granted within the UK LLC Trusted Research Environment. Further information on data application procedures is available here.
